The questions we’re asked before every outdoor job.
Do I need council approval?
Some outdoor work is exempt development and some is not — decks above a certain height, structural changes and anything affecting a boundary usually need approval. We tell you which applies at the on-site consultation, before you commit to anything.
How long does outdoor work take?
It varies more than indoor work, because scope and weather both move. You get a program with dates in your contract and a written update every Friday against it.
What happens if it rains?
Weather is the one thing nobody controls. We build realistic allowances into the program, and if a date moves you hear about it in the Friday update rather than finding out later.
Can you do the facade and the interior at the same time?
Yes, and it is usually cheaper while the same crew and site setup are already in place. We price them separately so you can see the split.
Do you handle landscaping as well?
We handle the built elements — decks, pergolas, paving, outdoor kitchens, rendering and cladding. Tell us what you are planting and we will co-ordinate around it.
