How long does a laundry take?
A laundry is usually the shortest job we do — commonly one to two weeks on site, depending on size and whether the joinery is custom. The dates come to you in writing with your contract.
Can a laundry be combined with a bathroom or mudroom?
Often, yes. Where the plumbing and the space allow it we’ll show you the options at the quote and price each one separately so you can compare.
Does a laundry need waterproofing?
Yes — it is a wet area. We waterproof it properly and it forms part of the documentation you receive at handover.
Can you fit a dryer above the washer?
Usually. We check the wall structure and ventilation at the on-site consultation and set out the joinery and power to suit.
Is it worth doing on its own?
Plenty of our laundries are standalone jobs. It is also the cheapest room to add to a bathroom or kitchen renovation while the trades are already on site — worth asking about at the quote.
