The questions we’re asked before every bathroom.
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
A standard main bathroom is typically 3–4 weeks on site. You’ll get a program with your contract showing each stage and its dates, and a written update every Friday against that program.
Do I need to move out?
For a single bathroom, most clients stay in the house. We agree working hours up front, put down dust barriers and floor coverings, and clean down at the end of every day. If it’s your only bathroom, we’ll tell you at the quote exactly how many days you’ll be without it.
How do I know the waterproofing has been done properly?
We waterproof to AS 3740 and test before tiling. The waterproofing documentation is handed over with the rest of your certificates at completion.
Can I supply my own tiles and tapware?
Yes. We list them as client-supplied in the written scope so the price and the program account for it — and we’ll flag anything that will cause a problem on site before you buy it.
Is the price fixed?
Yes. You get an itemised, fixed-price quote before we start. The price only changes if you change the scope, and nothing proceeds without your written approval.
